Bash has been working with the local ambassador for the Tyler Robinson Foundation founded by the group Imagine Dragons in support of families dealing with pediatric cancer.
When Tara contacted me about the benefit, what struck me first was Tyler being a super fan. I connect with music as part of a person’s journey in both illness and recovery. I also understand the effects a health crisis has on the family so it seemed like a great fit for Bash to come on board and assemble a lineup of live music to support the event.
The evening will begin with an acoustic performance by Austin Renfro followed by the band, Common Ground out of McPherson, covering country red-dirt by artists such as Jason Boland and Cross Canadian Ragweed to old country favorites by Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. Next We’ll have an acoustic performance by local teen, Emma Grace Smith, a 2019 American Idol finalist. Finally, local band, Tequila Ridge, playing Heartland Rock originals which is a blend of country red-dirt and southern rock.
We hope you’ll come out to Stearman Field Bar & Grill on Friday, June 7 to enjoy these artists who have generously donated their time in honoring the memory of Imagine Dragons fan, Tyler Robinson.
